Sunday afternoons

Sunday means church, good cooking, and lazy afternoons.  After a full week of working hard, Sundays are our day of rest.  We spent the afternoon watching our favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals and catching up on some much needed rest.  Of course chores still have to be done, so Dad and I ventured out into the cold, rainy weather Missouri has unexpectedly thrown on us.  As we were driving the polaris down gravel roads and through the pastures to put out feed I felt like I was on a Six Flags water ride! Water splashing all over the place and ducking behind the windshield to stay dry.  Oh the joys of life on the farm :) The cows are now fed, the sun is down, and this girl is getting ready for bed.  My work week starts bright and early in the morning, doing chores and heading off to work.  Praying for warmer weather and sunny days ahead!
